Album Notes
Don’t let anyone tell you there is no talent left in hip-hop, ToNe has all the right ingredients to become the next big thing in hip-hop. With all the odds against him, he has not stopped doing what he does best and that's music. Tone has been making music since the young age of 13, influenced by 2 Pac, Biggie, Dr. Dre, Eminem, Eazy E, Nas, J Dilla, & Jay-Z. But unlike his role models Tone's story is not one of the typical struggle, Born in Iraq he has a whole different story to tell escaping the gulf war alive was an accomplishment in itself. Tone is something new an escape from the typical tales that are told numerously in hip-hop. Tone a Detroit native has been rapping for 10 years, producing for 7 years. He is a one-man team determined on making a name for himself no matter how many roadblocks there will be along the way. He released his first album in 2005 with fellow rapper PeleBoY the album was titled Partners In Crime and had great success in Tone's hometown of Detroit. Tone has worked with many artists doing shows across the country and even out of the country opening up for artists like Trick Trick, & Kevin Lyttle. Tone has also been featured on the Tyra Banks Show for remixing the shows theme song & has also been featured in a recent issue of True Hip Hop Magazine. Tone has worked with many signed and underground rappers one being Detroit's own Big Herk who featured on Tone's first album Partners In Crime. He has also worked with Royce Da 5'9, Swifty Mc Vay of D12, Young Noble of the Outlawz, & Sean Kingston. Tone released his latest album titled By Any Means Necessary in 2008 the album features Sean Kingston & Young Noble, Tone's first single off the album Wind & Go Down with Sean Kingston has gotten a lot of attention on iTunes and internet blogs and has been on radio station WJLB Detroit. The latest music video to the song Want To Be A Rapper and the latest mixtape Baghdad Dangerous has proven that ToNe is an escape from the norm. Tone is now working on a new album the first single will be “The Takeover” Tone is a focused individual determined on pursuing his dream and will not let anyone or anything get in his way
