Album Notes
When brainstorming an appropriate title for this debut album of cover songs, I thought what better than naming it "Introduction." For many, it’s an introduction to my voice, my range, and my style. And for me, it was an amazing introduction to the intense recording process. Looking back on the past year of this creative journey, I am completely humbled by the amount of collective energy that it took to complete "Introduction." As a singer who loves to perform all types of music, it was quite a task to narrow down which songs would make the cut. When researching, I was drawn to inspirational lyrics and chose those songs which spoke to me lyrically. It was important that all of the songs shared a common thread of hope and inspiration. Equally important were fluid instrumentals that sounded like all of the instruments were playing in the same room at the same time. We are proud that each instrument you hear was recorded live and that no samples or synthesizers were used in the making of this album. The choice to make a “raw” record without autotune is a tad risky in today's market, but i wanted the challenge of capturing whatever energy we brought to each session to be real.

Thank you for allowing me this opportunity.
This is my Introduction.
