14 piece orquestra.
Wood Wind Section + Jazz rhythm section
with Caribbean and South American drums.

TONY DE VIVO
(Drummer, percussionist, composer & arranger)

Born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela 1970.
By the age of 16 Tony started working professionally
as a musician in Caracas, and has been living in NY
since 1991. In 1999 he earned his BFA from
The New School Jazz and Contemporary Music Department,
And a Master’s degree at Queens College.

Mr. De Vivo has toured South America, West Africa, Europe, Russia, China. Has participated with The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and the U.S. Department of State for inclusion in the : "Jazz Ambassadors" program as a band leader (JazzSabroson Quartet). Touring South America (2003) and West Africa (2006)

Tony directs his own large ensamble Winds of wood ensamble (WW ensamble) and also performs nationally and internationally with the flamenco group Espiritu Gitano “Arturo Martinez”, Pedro Giraudo Jazz Orquestra, The Cintron brothers, Gary Morgan’g big band Panamericana, Syrian Singer Gaida and Pablo Moya’s YUKA SEKA.
