ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Jazz alto saxophonist Tony LaVorgna traveled and was featured with the band's of both Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey. In 1985, Tony formed the Atlanta All-Star Jazz Quartet and received the coveted NARAS award for best jazz group in the southeastern United States. in 1988, he did a season on the road with the smash review, "Ain't Misbehavin' " (the dazzling musical tribute to Thomas "Fats" Waller).

To round out his spiraling progress, Tony fine-honed his composition skills by studying with friend and teacher Bill Finegan of Glen Miller fame. Tony's well received album "Nightcrawler" is a compilation of his career's best recordings.
