Album Notes
Throw MeShell N'degeOcello, Prince, and Q-Tip, into a blender and you've just discovered an artist named Tori Fixx and his CD entitled The Mochasutra. An album thats "hot like fish grease." This CD is simply 15 phat-ass, funky tracks with some erotic storytelling. A great blend of Old-School, Hip-Hop, Funk, R&B with a dash of that classic Chicago House sound.

Although T. Fixx is not a gangsta by any means this album is by far one of his "harder in tone" recordings. The beats are hard and raw making his unapologetically crass lyricism shine. Not the heavily thick production Tori is known for here. Strictly hip-hop heads may appreciate this record more than his others. We simply see it as the groundbreaking work for what was to come from the man, the talent and the force known as Tori Fixx

Hot CD, it will make you dance like a fool.
This CD is the bomb. I love the beats and the lyrics. I can play this album all the way through! I love this CD and his latest one "ReFixx." I can't wait for his next album!

David Thierens

Just a masterpiece!
What can i say 'about such a perfect album? this CD is surely one of the best i heard in all my life. His musical vision is impressive: he never does the same thing twice. When Tori uses samples on some songs, he uses them well. The lyrics are clever. I don't know what more can i say? maybe Tori's cd can make you catch your breath in wonderment. This album adds brightness and diversity to the hip hop genre. and last but but not least, this album is very sexual, if you know what i mean?

Damn boi !!!!
What can I say that hasn't aleady been said by so many others on this page! Tori's music is exciting and imaginative, no doubt about it. Each number has the ability to move you but each in its own way, each stirring a different emotion or emotions. And it's as much about the lyrics and the passions behind them as it is about the beat and the groove. His energy is amazing and his eroticism is infectious! Damn! From the gay community, thanks boi!

This is off the hizzy

OH, NO he didn't!
I'm am through! This cd is too many things truly. I've never heard such a thing in my life. The music is a little too much r&b for my hip-hop and house taste, but the lyrics are off the f*ckin' hook!!! Like it or hate it this cd is a landmarking experience. Every household should have one!

Call BET, MTV, MTV2, THE BOX, INTERSCOPE cause'this IS a new generation IN HIP-HOP. This brother is no joke and he's bangin' all the way through. His lyrical flows are off the damn hook as well as his stories and thats coming from a straight up, white boy from iowa. "Pass The Tender" and "1 Mo' Nite" are the BOMB! To bad the mainstream isn't ready, but i'm still telling all my friends. Best wishes fixx.

Where is GLAAD NOW?
I'm not a hip-hop fan but I followed the Eminem ordeal within the glbt community and i'm quite sad to say that here lies the alternative and GLAAD nor anyone else is nowhere to be found. It seems that we as a community don't support the positive movements as much as we do the negative. Tori Fixx is truly someone to hear and know about. And it helps that he's cute too.

This CD is Tight!!
My favorite song on the whole album has to be "1 Mo' Nite." I absolutely love it! There are a lot of great songs on here. I could play this CD all day and get a different feeling each time. Thanx!

Tori Fixx is a talent to be reckoned with, this CD bumps!
This CD is suprisingly fresh and funky hip hop. Not at all hard core rap but sexy, deep rhythms laid under sweet sticky vocals. You will definitely want to get your groove on while listening to 'the Mochasutra'.

This Man is about To Blow the f$#k Up!!!!!!
The First time I heard Tori's CD I wasn't really listening to the words. I just thought he had the fuckiest grooves around. I was at a house party and I said who's this playin'. The host said, "it's Tori Fixx". The grooves where just infectious and I couldn't get that 2 Many Things song out of my head. Well I bought three copies and sent them to various parts of the Country. Get the CD you won't be disappointed. I wouldn't call it pornofunk. Afrohomoalternativehiphop just might cover it.
