Album Notes
Torsion has endeavored to step outside of the box: they are about making interesting, challenging music. Torsion focuses on songwriting that combines primal rhythms, strong melodies, and layers of 'Industrial' sequencing. Their music is a blending of organic sound with cold machines. This synthesis of sounds creates a unique experience that the band has dubbed 'Sensual Noise'.

Torsion's music revolves around darker-edged themes. Some of the songs are inspired by unbalanced relationships and the instability and anger that occur between people; while other songs contemplate the times in a person's life where their self-assessment rates exceptionally low-where they feel worthless and alone. Another favorite subject matter is seduction, exploring the thrill of luring someone in and the guilty pleasure of such feelings.

2005 has seen the Release of Torsion's latest album "Faded." In supporting this album, Torsion will be touring the East coast of the United States, and Beyond.

Hot! Gripping! Sexy! An aural treat!
From the building tribal rhythms of "Fade Away" into the in your face sound of "Broken" this Cd plays in my player from beginning to end! Soon to be classics like "Push Me,""Remembering," and "Grey" stick with you. I'm singing the words over and over again! This is clearly not only the best sounding CD I recently purchased but also the best looking too! You guys (and Gal ;) ) didn't cut any corners. Its clearly shows. Great work!

Very good, just as the last two were.
I've been following Torsion for many years through Philly and I have seen many shows. "Faded" was very good and long waited for. I highly reccommend it for anyone who likes the band, there is real talent here and I wish "Kathryn and the boys" well in the future.

great blend of talent
enjoying the music all the time

Beautiful Dark Forboding River of Rock
From the first chords the music and lyrics go straight into the dark places in your own mind and soul The music could be the soundtrack to an Anne Rice Novel Its dark and lovely The music goes into you and flows through you like your blood pulsing through your veins COMPLETELY AWESOME

Awesome, I love it!

This Band Rocks!!
I first heard of Torsion on MySpace and bought all their CDs. They all rock and wish they would come west and play some shows in my area. Give them a spin, you'll like em!

A great hard rocking album. Recomend for anyone that likes a woman who can rock out.

Pretty generic. Much better goth-rock out there.
Frankly, I've heard all this stuff before. There is no new ground being broken here - standard effects loops and synth noises that make the band's influences blatantly obvious. I wouldn't go so far as to say they are ripping anyone off, but I certainly know people who would...Perhaps as a musician I would just rather listen to music that is different and unique. Point is, this stuff has been done before and done much better.
