ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
When Pete came to Christ at 32 years of age he needed a change. His life was headed nowhere at a fast pace. About two months after he was saved at an old fashioned altar in Newton, KS. he packed up his truck with all of his belongings, rented out his house in Minnesota, and set off on a move that would take him to the southern tip of Texas. From the day he got saved God started putting poetry and lyrics in his head. Knowing only how to play the tenor sax he picked up the mandolin. It was a great help in the writing of many songs. This cd contains ten of the first songs he has laid down. It contains the nationally released single "Crack It Open" that debuted on the Powersource magazine top 100 Christian Country chart at 87 in October. In November it moved up to 69 and looks promising to climb even higher in December quickly becoming a hit on Christian Country radio. The title track "Latitude and Altitude" is scheduled to be released to not only the Christian Country market but also mainstream Country in January!! According to HMG Nashville there is high hopes for this song to become a hit on both genres. Hopefully, and by the fans response he will be putting out more in the future. But, for now, we can enjoy this recording and another hymn and gosppel standard project called "Songs That Grandma Used To Sing." Please enjoy this music and thank you!!
