This album breaks new ground in the world of Classical and Romantic Flute music. In addition to listener favorites by Gabriel Faure, Joachim Andersen and Philippe Gaubert, this album contains the premiere recordings of 5 works:
Four are the brand new and never before recorded original arrangements by Todd Harris of Chopin, Schubert, Bach, and Saint-Saens all created especially for the Artists and this album. The original works chosen for these arrangements contain beloved melodies and all have had years of mainstream performance histories and wildly enthusiastic worldwide acceptance. These Artist-commissioned arrangements give the masterworks which inspired them gorgeous, totally new and exciting sonic dimensions. Tracy Harris' powerful and poetic tone combined with the masterful technique of all the Artists on this album make its performances truly memorable.
The Fifth premiere recording on this album is an original work by Todd Harris, commissioned for this album.
Performance Scores of these 5 works are available on Wyndfall's website.
