Jamil Brown A.K.A (Tragic)(T-Loc) was born in Chicago Illinois, the only child,his father pasted when he was a young teen to be raised by his grandmother & mother. He lived in three states (Illinois,Arkansas, California)Only to settle in Minneapolis, MN. We stayed in L.A in the mid 80's. Tragic says "Now that I look back on it, Those were some pretty crazy times out there. I guess moms thought it would be better opportunities in Minneapolis" When first arriving the two live with known local jazz singer Debbie Ducan on the southside of Mpls. "Debbie pretty much held us down until my m-dukes got on her feet, which never takes long. At 16 Tragic & Heater A.K.A (Loco Drama) Had signed with then independent liv-a-lil recordsin 96 to release a local underground compilation called "Sip of the Sota," which had little radio and gained the two artists a little buzz in the STREETS. That was a learning situation for us. It was Heaters first major debut as a producer, my first time as a writer a
