ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The first in a series of albums telling stories from travellers all around the world. Dromomania - the compulsive urge to travel is becoming more and more contagious with thousands of people throwing a rucksack on their back, picking exciting destinations they have only dreamt of, buying a round trip ticket and leaving their job.

This urge to travel is being recorded by way of journals, photographs, memories and storytelling. The TRAVELLERS JOURNAL concept tells travellers' tales through music and photographs with genuine sounds from the street, nature and local dialogue.

TRAVELLERS JOURNAL - BORACAY is a concept by musician Matt Deegan who records whilst on the road with artists from all around the world contributing to the album and Matt has used his connections with these musicians to create a truly unique album. The album is split into three musical genres; drum & bass, house and chillout. These boundries overlap so BORACAY flows smoothly from one genre to the next.

DROMOMANIA - the compulsive urge to travel

TUBE - time to start moving

MABUHAY - welcome to the Philippines

IF IT FIT'S IT'S HIP - finding your way in life and travel

CEBU - I'm in your city, Cebu

FORGETTING - a reflection on the travels so far and the travels yet to come

SLIP - slip into beach life in Boracay

RUNNING FREE - dancing through the sunset

ENCHANTED DARK - look up at the beautiful night sky and fall asleep on the beach

Loves it!
My new favourite album. Great for warm-up and cool down, make-up time and show time. Loves it!

The best chill out album I've heard in a long time!!
Love this album! It's a mixture of British tunes with a little Filipino culture added to it, and the outcome...pretty amazing!

I love how the Artist mixes filipino style with his own and creating a totally different experience. It's the kinda music you listen to when you're off backpacking, travelling or just simply on your everyday travels..

My fave tracks - definitely worth mentioning are - IF IT FIT'S ITS HIP & FORGETTING - I listen to it everyday just b4 work! A perfect way to start a day..

Worth every penny! I'm already waiting impatiently for the next!!

Mind stimulating music that takes you places. Worth every cent!
It truly stimulates your mind and takes you to the beach and nature. Reminds me of the "LOST" series to the point that it feels like part of it. Makes me want to quit my job and just go island hoping and explore the islands. Listening to running free, enchanted dark and mabuhay takes my stress away. If it fits and cebu makes me wanna party and dance. A totally new flavor. I look forward to more of this kind of music. Its every travellers companion.

A breath of fresh air!
I first heard this album in a chill out bar out in Thailand this summer and I must admit it’s now migrated to be one of my fave albums on my ipod. It reminds me of Morcheeba meets Massive Attack but with a twist – the vocals are really, pretty, the rhythm is chilled with elements of drum & bass and the subtle sounds from the street add an original flavour to it.

I’d recommend anyone going to spend their hols chilling in bars to download this on their ipod before they leave…
