ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Trell Blaze

More than just an artist. A pure musically emotional being who’s motivation is to carry his listeners through an emotional journey through songwriting, musical composition, singing, production, and any other ways his gifts will allow. One of the members of R&B Duo, Coop DeVille (with his older brother and manager, Damon “D. Coop” Cooper), Trell Blaze is definitely not new to creating and delivering music. He and his brother, Damon have released two successful albums and have been associated with distributors and record labels outside of the country such as Disc Union Tokyo, Toys Factory Japan, and Sony Music Japan. They sold thousands of copies of Truth, Lies, & Relations, their debut album, and Showroom Floor, the follow up. They sold thousands of downloads through digital distributors such as iTunes, Rhapsody, CDBaby.com, Amazon.com and many more.

Since childhood he Trell Blaze has been involved in music and audio engineering even when he didn’t realize it. He used to experiment with tape recorders and learned how to creatively alter the sounds that came from them. He used to play, break, and rebuild drum kits. He used to sneak and play with his older brother’s synthesizers and keyboards. He would bang on his grandmother’s old piano and get yelled at for it. He would sing along to his mom’s favorite records from the 50’s and 60’s, his uncles’, aunts’ and brothers’ tapes from the 70’s and 80’s, and his grandmother’s gospel hymns from all eras.

He never knew that these things would prepare him for what he is today – a completely self-reliant all-in-one musician. Vocal skills? He has that. Music composition? He does his own. Lyrics and vocal arrangement? He does that too. Audio engineering specialist? He doesn’t need one. Limo driver? Ok, maybe he doesn’t do that (haha). Truth be told, he is not the only person in the world who can wear multiple hats in the music industry. What makes him unique is his ability to do them ALL on a special level. Let me explain that…

You see, far more important than the individual things he does is the WAY he does them. In the world of modern music, technology is slowly starting to become the artist. Technology is in the spotlight. Technology, technology, technology. What happened to talent? What happened to soul music? There is no soul in technology. No emotion. This is where Trell Blaze really makes his impact on the musical world. People have been longing for the days when they could FEEL music as well as listen to it. There was once a time that R&B stood for Rhythm & Blues. There was almost a spiritual connection between the artist and the fan. This connection is what Trell Blaze gives back to the world of music.

When was the last time you listened to a song and felt your whole environment change – as if you had been transported into the story that the music was telling? When was the last time you could actually visualize the words that you were hearing? Now is the time to get back to that world and Trell Blaze is the perfect pilot to guide you there. It’s time to take off and let your emotions be your runway. It’s time to enjoy music again. Soar through the clouds of relationships and experience the turbulence of breakups and makeups. Let your wings feel the air of Love underneath them as it lifts you to incredible heights.

“This is your Captian, Trell Blaze, speaking. We are preparing for takeoff. Please remain in your seats and keep your seatbelts fastened as this will be a most exiting flight. I give you fair warning that you may not want to get off this plane when it lands so I’m granting you all a lifetime ticket to ride anytime you please. As always, I thank you for flying with me and I look forward to sharing each and every mile with each and every one of you. Captain out.”

We hear you, Captain. We hear you. Let’s get ready for liftoff.
