ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Tribe 8 is a San Francisco-based queer/dyke punk rock band. Known as one of the pioneers of the Queercore movement, the band was founded in the early 1990's by Lynn Breedlove, Silas "Flipper" Howard and Leslie Mah (of Anti-Scrunti Faction). No strangers to controversy, Tribe 8 often found themselves and their music banned from radio and events such as the Michigan Womyn's Music Festival. With a long list of members contributing to the core line-up, the band continues to re-invent itself and will undoubtedly entice and thrill listeners for years to come with their in-your-face, hilariously axe-grinding, sexually defiant rock.
