ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The musicians of this group don't want to use the item "jazz" to describe their music, because you automatically think in terms of swing, phrasing or other parameters of jazz-styles. The music of TRIO 120 is better described as a music, located in Germany, with influences of the american and european jazz history but strong enough to play without distinctive parameters of certain jazz styles. The compositions are very abstract seen from a common view of the relationship between melody, harmony and rhythm. But the music is still soulful, groovy and emotional.
