This is the sophomore album from banjo/hip hop pioneers, 'Turbo Pro Project'. It delivers an action packed journey through many genres and challenges the boundary of tradition.
Nine of the twelve songs are original with a few covers like ‘Rockit’, which pays homage to Herbie Hancock’s mega hit of the 80’s and done on the banjo nonetheless! Traditional bluegrass tunes are flipped, jazzy originals unveiled, and original live staples of the band included on this recording.
This album further adds to the clever fusion this band has created. It's not often one hears the banjo, turntables and the like mixed into one musical stew!
