ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Turner Adams is a singer/songwriter born and raised in the Philadelphia area. Inspired by the likes of Sting, Peter Gabriel, and James Taylor, he's been playing the guitar and writing music since he was 8 years old.

Strong vocals and fingerstyle guitar are central to the architecture of his songwriting. "The most profound thing I have learned from songwriting and performing is the importance of authenticity. Real music with heart and soul isn't about gimmicks and effects. When I let go, and get my ego out of the way, the music is much more sincere and powerful."

"Note to Self" is a spirited journey, with depth and range. It is both lyrical and gritty, light-hearted and bluesy. The straight-forward, vintage recording style is a welcome change. It will leave you wanting more.

W O W !
Everyone once in a while you hear a song that knocks you off your feet and you can't get enough of it. One listen won't do, two listens won't do...it's on repeat in your car and no matter how many times it plays, you want more. Sous La Lune was one of those songs for me! Turner Adams you make me smile when you perform and your music touches me on a deep level. Thank you for this great CD and Sous La Lune!!!
