t h e t u r n s t y l e s album "Live In The Studio" is a hybrid of two basic recording styles: a live CD and a produced studio album. The band felt that they were tight enough to record all of them playing and singing simultaneously, which is almost never done anymore. They did add some tracks later to enhance the sound of the CD. Suede wanted to show the core talent of the band and capture the excitement of four lads working together to make their sound.

t h e t u r n s t y l e s are fronted by Derrick "Suede" Stout. Suede is a very versatile musician. He has been writing and performing his own music for the last 20 years. He is a self-taught multi-instrumentalist, including vocal styling, which he uses to sing the best of Elvis or croon like Sinatra. He's composed over 500 musical pieces and produced music for major motion pictures. Besides running his record label and recording studio, Suede keeps busy headlining several acts. He has developed a plethora of musical incarnations, ranging from the upper-scale Derrick Stout Orchestra, to
t h e t u r n s t y l e s (a rock & pop band), to the Acoustic Duo, as well as solo piano concertos. With these various bands Suede is able to play any musical genre- with the utmost authenticity, charisma and professionalism. He currently performs at over 200 live events per year.
