Album Notes
This dynamic emcee of Jamaican descent was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago. After traveling the world and living in a number of different places (Florida, Cali, Virginia), TUT now makes his home in Cleveland, OH. Immediately embraced by the Cleveland scene, his electrifying live show and stunning stage presence quickly made him a crowd favorite. From blazing stages across the country, the name TUT rings bells in Chi-Town, Detroit, New York, Oakland, and throughout Ohio, and is frequently spoken in the same breath as the words "my favorite emcee".
At long last, it's here. With the heavily anticipated release of his first EP, "The Sound", TUT has licked off a warning shot to prepare the world for things to come. Just in time, "The Sound" appears like the "jaws of life" to pry music-lovers free from the wreckage that HipHop has been lately. This cd comes as a much-needed injection of life-giving new blood into an art that has seemed dry and stale. Jokingly referred to as the Barry White of HipHop, TUT thunders over tracks with the voice of God. With his raspy baritone and an insane liquid, ragga flow, TUT has created an absolutely SICK new sound.
To be honest with you, when you buy this EP, you're not just picking up some new music. You're buying a piece of history. Years from now, TUT will be looked at as one of the emcees who revolutionized HipHop and music in general. When that day comes, you want to be able to say you were there from the beginning.

All hail the King

Original flavor and it is about time.
I loved the way that this cd adds hiphop and jamaican styles together. I look forward to the album.

it's irie
this cd reminiscent of hip hop in the good years. Godd lyrics wrapped into song structure and catchy hooks have you stuck before you realize it. The voice of this newbie is intense and dramatic. Every word that grunts out comes with force and no subtle punchlines. He is in your face with originality and deserves every cent for this cd.
