ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Tyler Porch Band comes out of the gate balls-to-the-wall with their self-titled debut. Recorded at Ledbelly Sound Studios and Engineered/Produced by Matthew Washburn, the Ep has the punch and kick of a rock record while retaining the essential blues elements. Songs like "Trouble" and "Need A Prayer" give the EP a spark from the hard rock genre; ".22 Blues" and "I Spoke My Mind" reign in the infamous texas shuffle in new, colorful contexts. The epic, eight-and-a-half minute "Middle Of Somewhere" has qualities reminiscent of Led Zeppelin's "Since I've Been Loving You". This EP is a well rounded five song introduction to the Tyler Porch Band, giving insight into the musical influences of each member and exploring new areas of a well-worn genre.
