ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
our music is a synthesis of rock, electronica, noise, industrial, baroque-ish, indian classical-ish and chinese classical+folk-ish music.

DIGITALIA describes a man's journey as he comes to realize the shortcomings of modern society and seeks escape in personal revelation and awakening...

we have used japanese taiko and chinese opera and indonesian gamellan sounds with sitar-ancient-chinese-zither-like sounds and techniques played on an electric / acoustic guitar to give a sound that is at once ancient and contemporary. all this is mixed with a heavy electronic bass line and atmospheric like vocals sung using classical indian+chinese opera type sounds.

our new CD has been taking longer than expected (sigh, gotta do that work thing) but we have been spending as much time as possible. (brian:2 sept 2007)

new soundscapes coming soon...

What a sexy record
This is definitely one of the best records in Hong Kong. After listening to it for the first time, I can't stop myself from spinning it again and again.

At the beginning, you'll notice the minor root influence by industrial sound. Somehow, the vocals does a good part. The sounds' very full and fluent. A perfection to the combination of ambient mood, into the realm of beautiful sound of David Sylvian, but in a more Trip-Hop (trippy, darker) way.

All in all, this record is very sexy. Can't ask for more.

The creative sound Form Hong Kong
Well,it's quite surprise me that I can't believe those music form this CD are made by Hong Kong Local Band.
This CD is completely different between General HK muisc or PoP Rock N Roll. The greatest thing is,this band put the Chinese Traditional Music and Rock N' Roll together,Ooo,well,It's so creative and full of Surprise.
I think this is a awesome item whatever Music or intention From Hong Kong.

melodic voices swimming in distorted electronica...
the more the cd plays the more the mystery of the sounds sounds and vocals reveal themselves, thats obvious, but so true! it took me 2/3 listens to get to appreciate the finer more subtle vocal and guitar drifts... there is something deep in the music which grabbed me but unsure what that is although yet, but then i have a bias towards the mix of guitar, swimming vocals and the distortedd rhythms that fuse it all together... enjoy

support local talents
Listen first to end track Awakening, this is the song bringing the band a lot of good acclaims. The energy level is amazing. We need more of these creative people in Hong Kong.
