Album Notes
The Jersey Devil, Hook Man of Hook Mountain Road, Ghosts of the Union Hotel, the apparition of Annies Road... Jersey's got it's share of urban legends. But this CD takes a long, hard look at some of NJ's OTHER legends- a lot less scarey and a whole bunch more talented. They are the Blues performers who have been driving the vibrant music scene in the clubs, coffeehouses and festivals of the Garden State for many years. This, UJBN's second compilation CD, has be created to showcase and promote the incredible musical talent lurking throughout NJ. And to give notice that NJ's Blues scene is poised to stand alongside some othe country's long-touted Blues regions.

Gotta have it!!!
This is the second compendium of NJ's finest blues artists released by this company. Where are they finding these people?! Just great! From the first song, vocalist Nicole Hart of the NRG band cooking & boiling hot over a bubbling groove, to Dave Gross, to Charlie Jones, HOLY COW! This is a great deal for the dollar. I highly recommend this CD.

I bought a copy of this CD at a Blues festival in NJ...I had no idea what I was in store for. Three women are on this CD I had never heard of: Nicole Hart, Sweet Suzi & Kate Weber. I know cuz I looked them all up on the web. The first one, Nicole Hart, is with an amazing group called The NRG band. I was so impressed with their track on this CD, I went to see them at another show and bought their full CD. That girl is unbelievably great! Sweet Suzi is a powerhouse with a big voice and a sassy delivery. I hope I get to check her out soon, too. And Kate Weber has a sweet voice that makes me believe her on "love me like a man." The guys on this CD are great, too! I just thought the girls were standouts!

If you really love blues, you should have your own copy of this CD. I think everyone will enjoy it.

Fantastic and Interesting
Very interesting album from some of the great blues artists in NJ. Didn't realize how many there were. Dave Gross is fantastic and has two standout songs on this album. Another standout song is Killing Floor by Lone Shark, very unique from the original and a real blues rocker!
