Divided into six different historical sections, "México Sonoro" strives to provoke in the listener a "Time Traveler" experience and a "Visual-Auditive Fused Sensation" trough a clever highlight of one of the world's richest and most culturally diverse histories, the Mexican History.
The piece is divided into: Mesoamerican México, Colonial México, Independent México, "Porfiriato" (a dictatorship with industrial development), the Mexican Revolution which transforms into XX Century México (and for which It's worth noticing the lack of a proper textural division, which is instead portrayed by the musical presence of a harmonic and instrumental transformation, a musical metaphor for a period that never really ended but indeed became something else) and of course; 21st Century México.
References, moods and metaphors are all over the obvious and not so obvious levels of the piece, giving the experience a whole set of different layers of enjoyment.
Listen. Visualize. Immerse yourself.
