Pick Your Head Up
I haven't listened to all the album all the way through yet, but I love what I have heard so far. i saw these guys at the Wormy Dog Saloon. Excellent live band. Just what America needs right now.

robert anderson

really great band-no fooling!
i don't have the album (but just ordered) i did, however see these guys in falls church, va (State Theater, mid march) they put on a GREAT show, blowing away (in my humble 58y.o. opinion) the great leon russell. i spoke briefly with kevin in the lobby, who was the nicest, friendliest guy! -they were hustling their own equipment!? and speeding off to gettysburg for a late show leaving f.c. about ten. i said "you guys are too good to be hustling your own crap" -hopefully, they'll make it back again with the same lineup before the "band nonsense" breaks them up!! my friend and i STRONGLY regret not going up to gettysburg ourselves...oh well!

Put it on repeat...
The only problem with this cd is that it's too short. Forget cowbell, I need more Uncle Lucius. The tunes are catchy, the lyrics are soulful and fun at the same time, musicians are talented, and all the songs are unique but tied together with one thread. Really good cd guys, just make your next one longer.
