Progressive Reminiscence...
Something old, something new... these songs have a way of taking me away. I find myself in the midst of mood and memories, or in a scene from a black and white film. Sweet, haunting, familiar... like a chance encounter with a long lost love.

a must have record
this record is chill to leave in the player all day, and warped enough to twist your neck when you pay close attention. essential furnishing for your pad.

full of hidden depth... addictive
21 Days is not your usual party crasher but full of hidden depth and absolutely addictive!

Like "Lost In Translation"...
I put The Universal Artist on my ipod and the music transformes my town into Tokyo whenever I play it. Awesome work, makes you imagine your own movie... Lost in translation...

My favorite CD Baby find!!
This CD ranks high up in my favorite finds on CD Baby ever! I'm regularly browsing the isles of CD Baby and I'm really glad I stumpled upon this album. Fans of Brian Eno, Tangerine Dream and old Kraftwerk and other genre blending avant-garde Electronica bands will love this. Songs range from sublime melodies to slowly evolving textural audio collages. Several songs incorporate little audio snippets recorded in Tokyo's subway, conversations, phone calls and cartoon samples (or at least something that sounds like it!!!) Anyone who has been waiting for new music to fill the void created by contemporary Rick Dees radio programming and American Idol madness, this is the answer for you. What I also really like about this album is the odd combination of sounds and instruments used. They must use some really old analog gear like Moogs and on the other hand you hear sounds from 80's synths like DX-7 and the Casio VL-1. Ha, I knew this one would come back one day!!! An album with so much wit and sublime energy that you will love and discover more within it every time you listen to it. It also works great at parties, it's so out of the park. Beat the crowd and get it now before all your friends get it and then you have to buy it at their recommendation! A real must have!!

My favourite song on this very cd, is track no 1, because it's so pure, emotional and fragile!
