Album Notes
Having played over 175 shows around the North-Eastern United States, in just over three years together, Universe Shark has sharpened it's live spirit and honed its ever evolving creative realization.

"A fairly new foursome prone to describing its music as “carnivorous space-funk.” Turns out that description pretty much nails it. These guys are indeed killers."

Jeff Miers of the Buffalo News describes Universe Shark's music as, "Part jazz, part rock, part jam, part funk and a whole lot psychedelic, Universe Shark makes blinding virtuosity fun and danceable...a continuous stream of music (that finds) themes erupting, disappearing and showing up later on to provide conceptual continuity. Clearly heavily composed sections give way to just as clearly improvised jams and startlingly mature soloing is underpinned by churning, groove-centric rhythms of the danceable variety. "
