Upahar was born in England and has spent a great part of his life in India. He currently resides for half the year at the feet of the sacred mountain Arunachala in South India, where the beloved sage Ramana Maharshi dwelt and founded his ashram. When in the west he is based mostly in Italy and visits various countries to share his love for chanting and circles of heartdance.
