Rock has found a new voice. Mitch VanDoff. With a power and urgency reminiscent of Eric Clapton, Bryan Adams and Bob Marley Mitch VanDoff brings us his special brand of rock/pop songwriting.
Mitch is a native of Long Island growing up in Long Beach, N.Y. and currently residing in Amityville, N.Y. As a kid he grew up listening to the music of Bob Marley, Bruce Springsteen, Jimmy Cliff, Bryan Adams and many other of the great rock and reggae artists of the day. You can hear many of these influences in both his original and cover tunes.
Over the past several years Mitch has built a great reputation all over Long Island and the New York area as a unique and talented singer and musician playing solo as well as with his bands Rasta Blanca and The Vibes. Playing a vibrant mix of rock and reggae Rasta Blanca was recently voted Best Band In The Hamptons by the readers of Dan's Paper, the Hampton's most popular weekly newspaper.
Encouraged by the response of audiences to his original music Mitch has just completed his first major original CD release entitled "On The Beach". It features songs which are destined to be instant classics among fans and propel this undiscovered artist to the next level.
Mitch is an active member of ASCAP and the Songwriters Guild of America.
