Vanishing Cream is an audio experiment by Mandy Murphy & Ryan Lewis. The project is based loosely if at all on early 1900's cosmetic products and their effects.

Production includes use of the following:

Music Box, keyboards, editing, harps, horns, electro gadgets, guitar, bass, theremin, effects pedals, kaoss pad, washer & dryers, vintage mics, crappy mics, cassette recorders, voice mutilation & various other audio toys.

From the opening intensity of "Swarm" to the final shimmers of "Crow's Feet," Vanishing Cream transports the listener to a dangerously insane, constantly changing ambulatory freak show documenting the darker side of human superficiality. Somewhere in between the tranquil children's toy jingles of "Der Kasten" and the head-ache inducing white noise-drone of "Morning Sickness", Vanishing Cream's first full length album "The Blistering Truth" edifies the listener as to the logistics of experimental vision.
