Satthiraju Venu Madhav, a bright and rising star on the firmament of Carnatic Music is one of the disciples of Sri D Raghavachary Garu (Hyderabad Brothers), son of Sri Ramakrishna Rao and Smt Parvathi. He initiated early into the divine art of music at the tender age of 6 years from his Grandmother (Father’s Mother), late Smt. S.M.Rajyalakshmi He continued his training from late Sri Saagi Venkateswar Rao Garu and Smt E Savitri Garu in the Nagarjuna College of Music and Dance, Guntur and won kudos when he performed at the young age of 8 years at Guntur.
He continued his training under Sri Sistla Rajasekharam Garu at Repalle, Guntur (Dist), Andhra Pradesh. He made a stunning debut at the age of 12 years, when he performed at the prestigious “Thyagaraja Aaradhana Utsavam” at Repalle, when he received acclaim from the discerning Critic and Rasika, alike.
Venu Madhav soon went on to complete his certificate course under Guru Smt. Haripriya Garu (Hyderabad Sisters) and diploma under late Sri Vasa Padmanabham Garu, passing these tough exams with flying colours. He has taken some advance training in music from `Sangeetha Kalanidhi’ Sri Nedunuri Krishnamurthy Garu.
His music has seen him win many awards in School, College and University competitions.
Venu Madhav is presently undergoing advanced training under Sri Raghavachary to further hone his innate talent to perfection. Venu Madhav is known for his perfect sense of sruti and laya. Endowed with a deep voice, he takes great care to get the right diction of the lyrics of the songs he sings along with laying emphasis on the bhava and rasa of the raga and song.
He has received `Professional Excellency’ award by Rotary Club of Jubilee hills for the year 2010-11. `Best Concert’ award by Visakha Music Academy in the year 2010.

In the year 2010 Sujanarajani has released Book and CD named Annamayya Padamandakini consisting of 108 unheard and rare kirthanas of Sri Thallapaka Annamayya, tuned in 108 different ragas and sung by Venumadhav. The compositions have got good reviews and already three editions have been completed. Accomplished dancers of Bharatanatyam & Kuchipudi styles have taken these sankeerthanas for their performances.
