Album Notes
"Evolution" takes a slightly different direction from Vertigo Blue's previous album "Area 51" yet maintains some of the atmospheric and beat driven sound in which both albums capture. "Evolution" received great review by The Houston Press in the the March 15, 2011 Review. The first release of "Evolution" was launched when Vertigo Blue opened for Peter Murphy (of Bauhaus and who played as The Cold One in the Twilight Eclipse movie) and with two other Houston release shows including Vertigo Blue opening for A Flock Of Seagulls in May 2011. As "Evolution" is based as new electro-pop / electronica, reflections of past synth-pop emerge from tracks i.e. "80's Love Song". "Evolution" has a sound of it's own!
