Album Notes
Vicci Martinez, the 24-year-old Tacoma WA native, has been turning people on to her music since she was 14, when she started playing rooms she wasn’t old enough to be in. Even then, her music moved people. With dubious crowds looking on, Vicci stood firm, this little frame, and this pretty face, and a guitar that almost tipped her over. And then she’d sing. This huge, powerful, and beautiful voice that ripped through the room and made believers of them all.

Years later, not all that much has changed. The rooms are bigger, Vicci’s core following more devout, but she’s still breaking stereotypes and all expectations. Vicci has carved her niche in the musical echelon, and has done it her way. “The music business is a scary thing. Just like a current, always moving, always changing, and if you don't flow with it, you drown, or you at least work a lot harder. I feel like we do our own thing. For the right reasons, music can be healing, bring smiles to your faces, or tears to your eyes.”

Vicci, kudos to you once again!! Since first seeing you in Boise Idaho back in '06 I have been a fan. Purchased On my Way and Sleep to Dream that nite have been waiting 3 years for this CD. It was worth the wait. Keep up the great work. You Rock baby!!

Takes the Cake!!
Vicci's third CD, From the Outside In, is definately her best piece of work yet to date. She puts a lot of passion into her work and you can hear it in the end result. Once you hear her voice, you will be hooked and can't get enough.

Vicci's Best CD to Date...
So, I have been a Vicci fan for about 5 years now and this is by far her best work to date...I don't know why this girl hasn't hit the big time yet...we should be seeing her at half time at the super bowl next year...she is that good!

Bravo, B R A V O !!!
Put your feet up, crank up the Stereo or MP3 player and prepare to be blown away. Vicci Martinez is proof-positive that good things do come in small packages. Don't let her petite frame and pretty smiley face fool you.. There is a fireball and lioness inside! Vicci's voice is so dynamic, she brings soulful solace on her soft ballads and then belts it out ala Melissa Etheridge or Bonnie Rait style. Her powerful mezzo soprano takes command of the emotion of the moment and she solidifies her emotional commitment to each song, melody and harmony as only the creating author can do. This young lady is an incredible talent. Be it the soulful blues of "Rain" to the Reggae-like funk of "Upside Down" Vicci's versatility and talent tears it up. Do yourself or loved one a big favor and buy this albumn, savor it and soak it all in. Then go buy all her other Albumn's and I swear you will not find ONE song not a single one that you will want to skip over. They are all masterpieces from this emerging talent.
