Violet presents each song she sings with a powerful voice and an unique style that appeals to music lovers of all genres.
For as long as Violet can remember, singing has been the desire of her heart. So at the early age of 3, Violet began singing with her parents. They traveled throughout OH, KY and WV.
Violet joined The Bradley Gap Trio from Louisa KY in 1981 as the group's piano player. Violet remained with the group until it disbanded in 1986.
In 1992, Violet joined God's Ambassadors from Gahanna OH. Her duties included vocalist, piano player and bass player. During her tenure with them, they had the opportunity to be in concert along with such artists as The Perrys, The Comptons, The Hoskins, Mike Bowling and The Crabb Family. Violet remained with God’s Ambassadors through December, 2004.
In December 2005, Violet performed as a solo artist for the first time and began the road to fulfill her dream to expand her music ministry to a new level. What a great evening it was!
In 2007, Violet released her debut solo project, "Many Riches Have I". Three Songs from this debut recording have been released nationally via www.radioactiveairplay.com and have charted in the top 5 of the southern gospel chart.
