ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Viruses is a trio of musicians located in Chicago and New York making music which is both sound art and traditional songwriting. The record "Popdust" is a debut effort recorded over a 3 month period using file sharing, laptops, ableton live, monome and traditional instruments such a bass, guitar, drums and voice to create a diverse album. The record borders on avant-garde experimentation at times and in other moments lands squarely in rock territory or pushes into electropop. Viruses debut will resonate with fans of Radiohead, Queens of the Stone Age all the way through followers of Zach Hill, Head Automatica, STS9.
