It's the sound that comes out of san francisco fun melodic pop, interesting lyrics, sometimes brit pop sometimes americana. Think neil young meets blink 182. Good energy and a great set of individual songs.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
at the time this bio is being written we are an unsigned band...

just did a demo for reprise records and had a blast! we like to say that we are fun and write good pop/rock songs.

we tried to make this album an experience from beginning to end with lots of different songs that compliment each other..

sometimes a little up beat and sometimes a little moody...

sometimes electronic and the last song is just matt and his acoustic guitar.

a few good songs for parties a few good songs for sex and basically a little peak into our world here in little san francisco in the late 20th century early 21st century.

enjoy the cd and check out the website...

maybe we'll be playing in a town near you....

One of my of Favorite SF Rock Bands
Fun. Original. I love the opening on the opening song, "Life Preserver." The lyrics aptly describe the post dotcom meloncholy mantra wondering the back streets of the city that I call home. "Waiting" is a breathe of fresh air with wonderful vocal harmonies and superb guitar solos that just swept in from the streets. If you're ready for a change of pace. Check this one out. It's more than all right. It's a winner!

Quite an Awesome First impression!
I was simply searching the racks of my college's radio station a one day a few years ago for some alternative rock that I might actually enjoy playing. I saw "VIV" on the shelf and immediately I was intriuged - VIV is, afterall, a very simple name to ponounce; it's a no-brainer! It's true that one must not judge a book (nor an album), by it's cover, but it was totally different. I checked out the tracks on the back, and I saw a song entitled "Green". "Hmmm...", I thought, "green's my favorite color so I'll play it".
Well, it's now my favorite indie indie rock song from te past three years - VIV wrote a good one when they wrote "Green". It's not a very fast or complicated song, but it's got some cool electric violin work (which abounds on the album), and some mysterious lyrics (which also abound on the disc). San Franscisco's own VIV has come strong on to the scene and ready for action!
This is some highly reccomended "punk music" for people who don't like punk. Definately check out all of the tracks for every song has something different to offer.
