Album Notes
Be consumed by the delicate and intriguing sound of Voide and the ‘Evolution’ album, Swedish Electronica produced for the masses, yourself included! This is the second album to be released (previously released was ‘Space Sponge’ and the single ‘Computer Nation’ in 2007) and it continues the musical voyage with the soundscapes of Voide.

The mix of songs on the ‘Evolution’ album ranges from butter cake acid like ‘Dream Machine’ and soft emotional Electronica with ‘Miss You’ to dance club music like ‘Motivator’ and ‘R-evolution’ and finally topping off with ‘Computer Nation’ and ‘The Core’ to mention a few of the tracks. All this produced with a blend of the 80s sound and love for synthesizers delicately mixed with the reality of the 21st century.

Voide is influenced by early 80s synthesizer music and artists like Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Moby, Yello, Depeche Mode, Howard Jones, Jean-Michelle Jarré and The Art of Noise.

Many musical ideas are also spawned by Sci-Fi writers like Arthur C Clarke, Stanislaw Lem, Harry Harrison and other well known authors. The balance between humanity, nature and technology is something that Voide finds especially intriguing and this is also reflected in most of the songs and art that he produces.

At the time of the release of the 'Evolution' album Voide is an independent artist with a bright future ahead. The 'Dream Machine' track is widely popular among Electronica and electronic music fans all over the world and it has been featured on several popular podcasts like the Triple F Mixtape, Electronicast, Bleep Show and ThinkToy. Voide has chosen to work together with Peter in De Betou at Tailor Maid studios in Sweden and Peter has mastered all Voides albums and songs released to date. The Space Sponge – Radio Edit track (from the 'Space Sponge' album) is featured on Red Night Records compilation CD 'Electronic Surge Volume 1' that was released in October 2007.

Liquid Abyss

Tasty sounds of the early retro style served up just right. This cd focusses on colourful musical visuals and forgotten rituals :)

Ascension has no limitation
And falling could be endless
You cannot fix a life
As it is always moving

“Evolution” stirs the soul from the very first chords. You move along with Voide’s dynamic music and you cannot tear yourself away from his expressive and powerful project. The artist creates clear futuristic images by his electronic music. Odd rushed to the sky megapolises appear in front of your face. You feel yourself sometime in the future and you see how many visible changes it brought. But your deep inner self remains unchanged. And you feel confident and well-grounded in this unknown fantastic world.

The album “Evolution” is reminiscent of famous Berlin school. It has a strong flavor of classical electronic music. In my opinion the most captivating tracks on “Evolution” are “Supercharge” and “Dream Machine”. But the entire CD makes a good impression and you will undoubtedly want to listen to this pulsing Voide’s music time and again. I would characterize it as music for outward and inner moving.

We've got contact
Once again, the Swedish master musician Voide has blessed us with a complete album. The content is just perfect for easy listening (I have a copy of the CD in my car) or a more focused analysis of contemporary music that is true to its roots (listening to the new Voide CD with headphones is strongly recommended for an awesome experience). Best electronica album in 2008?

Filling the Void(e)
There is A LOT of electronic music out there right now. What makes Voide different is that his music comes from a personal concept of men, machines and the relationship between them. You can tell what he's been listening to over the years, but instead of copying his idols, he has brought their music up to date by respecting the same concept they had.

To repeat Kent Lofgren's analysis - best electronica album of this year?

(Hoping you'll pardon the pun in the title, but somebody had to do it!)
