ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
INCIDENTAL is an album of musical decadence, featuring luscious melodies from the late 19th and early 20th century European salons.

Vov Dylan (Violin) and Glenn Amer (Piano) have been collaborating on stage since 2004 but this is their first recording collaboration.

Vov and Glenn are joined on this album by Vov's father Evan Elsley to perform three duets for two Violins and Piano.

The last track in this album is 'taste test' for Vov and Glenn's follow-up album to be released later in 2014.

Recorded in St Ives Uniting Church Sydney in October 2013.

THE ARTISTS

Vov Dylan - a third generation musician that has music flowing from every fiber of his body.

An artist that has in recent years done extensive touring across South east Asia and Australia, released 5 albums, recorded for Film, TV and Radio and most recently was awarded title of "Worlds Fastest Violinist" by the Australian Book of Records for performing the Flight of the Bumblebee in 38.1 seconds.

Glenn Amer - is a performer of substantial reputation and ability. He is the only performer to have recorded on Piano Rolls, Cylinders, LP's CD's and in digital.

Glenn has toured the world on multiple occasions and worked with some of the best performers of several generations. He is currently involved with multiple recording contracts and has recently been appointed as an assistant conductor for Opera Australia.

Evan Elsley - is a Violinist that has recorded for nearly every major record label in Australia. His career has taken him on a journey that includes being a soloist, leader of Orchestras and Chamber Ensembles, where he has performed well known works in addition to 'introducing' numerous new compositions by Australian composers to the scene.
