World music from Guatemala and Norway
Vulcan Project is World Music made around the vocal works of Liv Nome; three songs made at beautiful Lake Atitlan – Guatemala C-A in the spring of 2004, now ready for release!
50% of the income of the sale of the songs goes to the local branch of the organisation Conavigua in Lago Atitlan as a contribution towards this unique Maya-Indian area.Guatemala are still facing the consequenses of the long lasting cicvil war, and Conavigua is helping the woman and widows of Guatemala. In autumn 2005 the area around the lake was hit by a hurricane – rain and mudslides caused severe damage in several of the villages. All help is therfore needed in this area, and by bying this CD/songs you are giving your contribution.
Hei bror, Breathe Deep and Primal Dream are my contributions to Lake Atitlan.
GRACIAS A TODOS!
Tusen takk til alle støttespillere og medhjelpere!
