Wadud -Born in St. Louis, raised in Milwaukee, rooted in Philly

As a poet, Wadud has been published in various anthologies with the likes of writers such as Maya Angelou, Sonia Sanchez, Gwendolyn Brooks and Amir Baraka to name a few.
He has performed throughout the U.S. and Europe both as a musician and poet.
Wadud has recorded with such notables as The Roots, Jill Scott, James Poyser,Victer Duplaix, Jamaaladeen Tacuma, Jean-Paul Bourelly, Doc Gibbs, Gerald Veasley, John Blake, Marc Ribot and June Lopez.
