ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Warclub is a political and socially conscious hip hop group. The group, based in LA by way of Philly, consists of two members whose Native & Afro-American bi-ethnic back- grounds motivate and inspire their hot, in-your-face lyrics.

Ryakin Rip (Meherrin/Afro-American) is an accomplished producer and lyricist whose flow is strong and forceful. Ryme Hawk’s (Shinnecock/Afro-American) whose flow is smooth and precise is an accomplished lyricist in his own right. Both styles combine and blend nicely on their sophomore album, The Art of Warclub Reloaded available Feb. 27 2007, and give birth to lyrics that make you think and gets your emotions working.

We're part of a movement that will bring balance back to HIP-HOP. By balance we mean playing SOCIALLY CONSCIOUS HIP-HOP right along side party/gangsta/booty shaking hip-hop. There's a time an place for everything. We like to get our party on too, but the last 10-15 years it's only been a non-stop, drug induced, womanizing party. It's time to bring balance back, support our communities, bring issues to the forefront, and to build and uplift. Give the people a choice and let them choose.
