A really terrific album! You not only get four classic Uncle Walt's Band tunes, the other eight prove the apple didn't fall far from the tree. Warren's ability as a songwriter, and composer (listen especially to Black Cat), is every bit equal to the talents of his dad, the late Champ Hood, and his godfathers Walter Hyatt and David Ball. The record showcases his immense talent on fiddle, and in a variety tasty genres -- Swing, Bluegrass, Gypsy-jazz and even classical. Get your credit card out and buy this album!

I first heard you play at Gruene Hall. You played a classical piece which evolved into a very progressive bluegrass wonder. I was mesmerized. It reminded me of a painting by renoir I saw at the museo l'orangerie in Paris across the street from the Louvre. That painting mesmerized me for 45 minutes. I have never forgotten your perfrmance that day. It was renoir. Art, in whatever form, is for the soul.

I LOVED every song on the CD and have played it continuously in my car since I received it. I first saw Warren in Johnson City, Tennessee and hope that some day SOON he may be able to venture back this way. He is awesome, everyone needs to own this CD.

I first heard Warren play the violin and sing when he joined the Waybacks and was instantly enthralled. This solo album is an excellent way to find out why. He is a consummate musician playing at a level rarely heard. But that musicianship is complemented by a voice that I predict will become familiar to millions of people. It has a special quality that is indescribably delicious. Add to that a style and feel for his music that completes a unique package. It\'s his first - I say get it!

I have been a Champ Hood fan all my life! Warren's brilliance is a great tribute to his talanted Father. I am so glad he recorded "Every Road That I Pass" it brings back wonderful memories. "Black Cat" is a glimpse into Warren's genius. We look forward to hearing more from "Champ Sinatra"

I have been a Warren Hood fan since the first time I heard him sing Savannah, maybe 2 years ago. This album is good music at its best, and it also focuses nicely on his great voice.

Fantastic! I've been craving some new tunes since wearing out the Loaded album;-) Really glad that Going to New Orleans is on the album...I had been searching for a copy of it! Looking forward to more to come - can't recommend it highly enough!

I have heard him live once and I was blown away. He was performing at the Gruene dance hall for no cover at all. The performance that he put on did not indicate the lack of a cover. The craftsmanship of music and performance by him and his band was top notch. Also it was the first live show that my girlfriend and I attended so it will always mean that much more. His music is something that I can listen to regardless of what mood I may be in. What a talented performer.
