Testimonials and reviews:

"...Malcolm Watson is an artist and performer of unique and phenomenal talent..." Dr Deepak Chopra

"...This is not the classical music you learned about in grade school, this is music with emotion, feeling and soul! This is music from someone who feels every note they play. Regardless of what genre of music you like, I think this is a must have for any music collection..." Fan JavaGuitar

"...I just wanted to close my eyes and drift on a cloud while your music filled my ears with pleasure! I never imagined a violin and guitar could sound so beautiful..." D.M. Heavy Metal Fan, Estes Park CO

"Savor the Range. This recording illustrates the widest selection range presented by the duo-all played with an emphasis on arousing strong emotion...This duo generates a lot of music from two instruments. The listener will play it many times and remain engaged by the flow of each piece into the other, yet all representing different types of music. A recording to enjoy in many settings and one which will be played many, many times." fan from Westland, MI USA

"...Seeing Malcolm performing is unbelievable. He dances with the sound, no wait, the sound dances him. He can live at ground zero and play from that high heaven. But have you seen him? I couldn't believe what I was hearing and then seeing. More than amazing!

Malcolm Watson is an active, swirling, transcendental violinist who plays and dances barefoot, dressed sharply in a white tuxedo, accompanied by a variety of acoustic-electrified guitars. His music moves him, moves his bow, and moves me, tremendously. This is ecstatic music performed in ecstatic presence..." Greg Ozimek PhenomeNews

"...and I can't begin to say how captivated I was by your music!...It freed me to cry like I needed to..." G.A. Dallas TX

Dancer of Grace
Reach for the Sky
This is the Place:
Your wings will Fly

And
Unfolding he is, WATSON.

Another BABYBOOMER on the "Long and Winding Road" to join the ranks of his contemporaries like Elton John, Eric Clapton, Phil Collins, Rod Stewart, Billy Joel, Paul McCartney, Santana ... Chicago, Fleetwood Mac, Supertramp... whom WATSON left (almost 30 years ago) when he felt their scene no longer nourished his Spirit.

WATSON had a passion - or rather ApassionatA - toward classical music.

English-born five year old WATSON stood on a Spring English morning holding his first violin. It was a gift from his uncle. Two years passed before his family found a teacher who would teach such "youthfullness". And WATSON - gentle, well spoken, and with glasses perched, discovered in those two years that there was no other consideration - he knew he was to be a violinist.

Lessons were on Saturday morning's, an hour's bus ride away, his violin case nestled between his knees. Trained at the Kent Junior Music School, performed solos at age 7, and with symphony orchestras at 10. His rise as a prodigy, which almost resembles that of Paganini 200 years earlier, Manifested in a FULL SCHOLARSHIP AT THE ROYAL ACADEMY OF MUSIC. He was just 16, already in full blossom as a performer/composer/interpreter of classical Masterpieces.

However, there was one part of this which he could not agree to his view of life: Classical music was taken too seriously, played too seriously, performed too seriously and presented too seriously, - very unlike the flamboyant romanticism of Paganini, the charm of Liszt, the playfulness of Mozart, the exuberant lightness of Chopin, the dreaming of Debussy, vigor of Vivaldi and dynamics of Pachebel.

Thus to free himself WATSON joined the exploding pop scene, where his sensual & playful violin became a trademark to many performers of the late sixties-into the early seventies. He became a CBS-Europe recording Artist, touring the World with zest, passion and enthusiasm.

British Television found his life so inspirational that a full movie was made - and his gift about to make him a Superstar in the constellation of the brightest ... when a recording deal turned so sour that WATSON decided to pack up the violin "forever"...To become a fisherman, - a C.E.O., - a Metaphysical Teacher, Lecturer, Counselor.

Early 90'ties WATSON falls in Love with the World - and the violin - again, and "forever" is broken. New compositions flow from new inspirations.

He moves to America. And he moves America.

Touring extensively with his "Company" of hand picked guitarists and pianists his blends - from "New Age", Joyful Jazz and light Classics take millions by storm. More than anything else his "Joie de Vivre" style, his rage of beauty and his dance of ecstasy, leaping and whirling barefoot, opens an entirely new market, creating a niche almost to himself: Holographic Healing Holistic...indeed!
Emotional Soulful Cathartic Infinite...absolutely!

Tears of pain, ego, fear, of Love ... Tears of Joy, STRAIGHT FROM THE HEART! His Universal, magical music is Mind-Body Medicine made manifest. Because:

WATSON DOES NOT PLAY NOTES ... HE PLAYS FEELINGS

Evoking sensual sensations and perceptions. Spiritual and sexual ones, too.

Thus "WATSONism" is taken to the next step. Hundreds of thousands of CD sales allow the experience to be echoed at home. Big Corporations, Resorts, Hospitals, Governments, Airlines . . . are quick to follow, realizing that WATSON's music brings harmony and Ease-of-Mind to customers / in work environments.

Performances range from intimate gatherings . . . festivals . . . to large audiences at Unity houses . . . to 10,000 people at the Gala-Opening of the Planetarium with a spectacular Sound, Light and Laser show.

His new COmpany is Colin McAllister whose innovative & creative mastery of the guitar is a perfect match to WATSON"s vivacity, - and together they create the sensational CD "Holographic Projections". Recently in concert at the Krishnamurti Pavilion California, WATSON & Company lifts the ceiling, expanding their music beyond L.A. ... the Mountains, ... Oceans ... Sky ... Universe.

Today - one of America"s most successful TV Producers offers WATSON to Star in a Universal WHAT ABOUT MUSIC Series. BBC producer Michael Pearce proposes to film "this incredible tale of a modern Paganini ... this RETURN OF THE WIZARD" ...

Recent News: WATSON plays at the Millennium Celebrations for Dr. Deepak Chopra in Palm Springs, filmed for broadcast to millions on PBS.

WATSON is Born May 1945 as Malcolm Hennermann Watson. He lives in Ojai, California.

Jivani (J.Bechmann is a writer, artist and Metaphysical Teacher. He is an international authority on Music for Body and Soul, and the Cofounder of EquilibriumJ Healing Arts Institute, California. Previously he was General Manager of Polydor Europe.

I love the CD's. They give me peace and joy, the violin and guitar are something that has been played and enjoyed in my family for generations so I am very comfortable with the sounds.

Fabulous virtuoso
I saw them in Cherry Creek Mall in Denver 15 years ago and I've been looking for this CD ever since! The images Malcolm Watson paints with his music are indelible. If you ever need to let music take you away for a while you will never regret owning this CD.
