ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
I was never taught music.I just latched on the sound of music while growing up and I could not let go.I first realized my abilities vocally for some reason I was able to impersonate unlimited variety of voices.I became entertainment for my family and also to help kick start and evening party or whatever was going on because they no if I was there it would be entertaining.i was not extreme it was just my personality.I later in life joined bands from intense shower singing training that paid off.shower acoustics are amazing.I was lead singer in numerous amount of bands and I specialized in a raspy stlye vocal but I could also sing softly which I had to work extremely hard at.I later really got attached to writing original music and I was trying to find myself as a musician and what my music would sound like.I later strayed away from bands and went on my own.I always loved the sound of a bass guitar which my older brother played (finger style).he had amazing rhythm.I also was crazy about thumping which the bass player in one of the bands I played in was a beast at.(chilly chat). That's what we called him and also having the wooten brothers in the neighborhood.(crazy sweet musician family) that was enough to inspire me to pick up the bass guitar and never put it down.I was frustrated with bands and the run around trying to make it which bought me where I am today.I over the years worked on learning to play any instrument I could to build my one man band to find my sound and whoop there its (its all over the place but it is music ).I was so into playing instruments I almost forgot about vocals which has the strongest influence in music.i will get back into singing mode but for now im just enjoying playing musical instruments.I have a lot to learn.Rhythm and sound is how I created this cd.Thats where the name Beslappin came from.My definition of beslappin is rhythmic slappin or thumping on instruments to create melodies....thank you and enjoy ......... beslap

Smooth and Original
I really love this CD. With the right blend of jazz and R &B, it is the perfect background music for dinner parties and road trips. In an age where pop music has taken a nose dive, this is a nice alternative.
