Album Notes
Wayne Womac is a therapist in a maximum security forensic psychiatric facility by day, but has studied the guitar for many years. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Mr. Womac's formal training was under Thomas Curtner who worked with Jerry Coker in the Jazz program at the University of Tennessee. Among many performers, major influences include: John McLaughlin; Ralph Towner; and Pat Metheny.
Mr. Womac's compositions have literary influences as well, including Franz Kafka and Herman Hesse.
Currently, Mr. Womac lives in Murphysboro, Illinois and has two beautiful boys, Miguel and Andres.
