Album Notes
Weapon Head are a very solid and crunchy ryhthm driven unit. We are loud, disstorted, relentless and damn proud of who we are and what we've achieved. With a singing drummer, crazy bass player, and identical twins on guitars we are well set apart from the rest of the pack, as is our primal sound. They have shared the stage with Music Legends Black Sabbath , Alice Cooper & The Radiators to name a few....

What an inspiration this is to all Aussie musos and bands having a go out there. Weapon Head have been prolific and relentless and this EP confirms that they are here to stay. Excellent work!

Brad at CD Baby

Sometimes, all you need are a few guitars jacked into randomly scattered distortion pedals and some syrupy thick riffs. Most of the time, things need to be pushed a few steps farther than that. This Aussie four-piece aims to give you what you think you might expect, but they're fully prepared to club you in the temple with plenty of stuff you never saw coming. First off, and this bears mentioning simply because it is a bit of a rarity these days (especially for the hard rockers), their drummer is the singer. This is awesome for many reasons, but mostly because the guy assaults the kit and possesses a voice that's perfect for their brand of weighty rock. Add this to the unintentional novelty of their identical twin guitar players, and you might start to smell some sort of angle they're pushing. They're not, and they don't need to. These songs are big, dripping with the sort of intensity that's rarely captured on a studio recording. Just take a listen to focused frenzy of "Bleed," the second track on this EP, and it'll all make perfect sense.

WHOOOAA! Damn people - this is the S*#T! The sheer wall of distorted grunt coming out of this cd is awesome. The solid, fuzzed riffs are really pumpin - and the rythm section is bang on. Keep an eye out for these boys - freakishly cool!
