Album Notes
Webb Dalton co-produced his latest CD, “Mine’s Bigger” with Keith Sykes, Memphis singer songwriter, who has written songs that have been recorded by the Judds "This Country's Rockin'", Jimmy Buffett "Volcano", and “Coast of Marseilles", John Prine "You've Got Gold", Jerry Jeff Walker "Long Monday", Rodney Crowell "Just Want To Dance" and many others. Keith also had several albums resulting in an appearance on Saturday Night Live.

In the early years, Webb recorded his first single at legendary Sam Phillips recording studio with a song that won the Memphis Songwriters contest and recorded his first full album at Lyn Lou Recording Studio in Memphis, Tennessee.
Webb’s past CD’s resulted in appearances on TNN and CMT, and a chart single with "At The Drop Of A Hat". He also released a video of the title cut, "Honk If You Wanna Honky Tonk" which play on CMT and GAC. Webb has opened shows for many artists including Garth Brooks, Randy Travis, George Strait, George Jones, Keith Whitley, The Romantics, Charlie Rich, Jerry Lee Lewis, Kitty Wells, T. Graham Brown, John Conlee and others. He has also performed for President George W. Bush.

Webb’s wanted his current CD to show the musical influences he experienced from his early childhood years in Montgomery, Alabama, growing up listening to and performing songs by Jimmy Rogers, Merle Haggard, Delbert McClinton, Hank Williams and Lynyrd Skynyrd to his Memphis influences of Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Charlie Rich, B.B. King, and the Amazing Rhythm Aces.

Webb's style of music has been described as "Rockabilly Honky Tonkin' Rock N Roll", and although not a fan of labels, believes that to be a pretty accurate description. "One of the first things Keith and I did for this CD is wrote a song called "Rockabilly Honky Tonkin Rock N Roll". It seemed natural to write a song that describes me and my music".
After recording his previous CD in Nashville, Tennessee, it’s like a coming home party for Webb being able to record his new CD in Memphis. And to be able to work with some of Memphis’ finest musicians and singers is special to Webb as well. “I’m thrilled beyond belief how this CD has come together and the folks that have contributed to this project. Memphis is known for it’s diversity of Music worldwide, but only those that live here can truly witness the Memphis Music Family that makes Memphis Music what it is”. So be looking for Webb's new CD and support Memphis Music. It's sure to satisfy many different musical appetites.
