ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
WeirdGear are an electronic band based in Essex who record and perform completely live using
analogue kit. The band started in 1994 inspired by Indie-Dance, Electronic and Detroit House with
members Paul W and Lee. Paul Barlow joined in 1999 and they finally debuted their live show in
2006.

For those who enjoy the glam motorik sounds of electronic pioneers such as Kraftwerk, Roxy Music,
Neu! and Cluster fused with the Detroit Techno sounds of Juan Atkins, Derrick May and 808 State; we bring you
BLACK7 by WeirdGear.

This is the debut from the band in their revised line-up of Barlow>Maher>Wolfe and begins a new
journey into their own production sound.
