ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Sorrow My Name" is Well Of Soul's 4th CD release and the second on John Perez's (Solitude Aeturnus) Brainticket label. Full of epic woeful songs with a sense of loss and despair the release continues in the bands traditional epic doom style. The accomplised group featuring John Calvin (vocals), Tim Wayne & John "OJ" Morris (guitars) & Michael Millsap (NS stick/bass) has toured America and shared the stage with everyone from Savatage and Fates Warning, to Helloween and Omen as well as performing with and in numerous other metal and doom metal bands all over the U.S. including Helstar & Axe. The band's sound has a technical progressive edge mixed with classic heavy metal and doom influences in the vein of Candlemass & Solitude Aeturnus with clean unique vocals and crushing twin lead guitars. The track "As I Die" features a guest appearance by Bobby Williamson of progressive metal band Eumeria.
