ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This rondeau is most often recognized because of its fame as the Masterpiece Theater Theme, and it represents a unique part of Whispering Roses' repertoire - classical music. While generally know for their Celtic music, Whispering Roses enjoys arranging classical pieces for their distinctive combination of piano, harp, recorders and violin. The result is a refreshing twist on an old favorite!

For the past nine years, Whispering Roses has delighted audiences at festivals and concerts throughout the Pacific Northwest with their unique blend of Celtic, folk and sacred music. The Bisceglia sisters, Sarah (piano, vocals), Janna (Celtic harp, vocals), Krista (recorders, autoharp, vocals) and Kathrina (violin, vocals), form the core of the band and are often joined by their brother Noah on guitar. The warm family spirit draws listeners in, and audiences are charmed by authentic family interaction on stage. They have performed at various venues and events throughout the Northwest, including the Grotto’s Christmas Festival of Lights in Oregon, the Bitterroot Scottish Irish Festival in Montana, and the Enumclaw Highland Games in Washington. These dynamic musicians continue to capture the heart of every audience for which they perform.
