Album Notes
the cover has an interesting story behind it... a real security dog and handler are on the cover BUt the dog got spooked and really bit into the handler who had to be taken to hospital for the bite. he finished the shoot and offf he went.. so some of that is REAL blood .. the backdrop was used by Boy George for a time magazine piece the day before we arrived ) so i spit blood on it and the boxes and made up the dog and handler to look rabid the other bandmates were frightened by the dogs..and were standing on chairs!....oh how i wish i had photos of that scene... 9 the most vicious dog they left in the car outside Pat's studio in oakland and it may have been a nice neighborhood in the 60;s when he moved in.. and shot photos of jimi janis and the grateful dead but it was pretty much a scene out of a movie.. the dog scared the hell out of the locals .. well the lp came out had backing vocals from Lemans and cacophony singer pete marino...which didnt seem to help the songs at all.... and to this day jeff gripes about it.. but thats life... 20/20 hindsight...ya might as well be blind.. my suggestion.. always STICK TO YOUR GUNS... do what you do... and maybe someone will like it but.. they'll never accuse you of "trying" to be something.... believe in me endless nights beauty and a beast and the song that never fials live "Livin on the streets" are my faves.... im matt mccourt. thanx for looking

major metal

WOW! i used up my vinyl album and finally found this after many years of nowhere to be found! thanx matt! and teh extra songs are great as well i had a demo that was 99th generation of some of the songs before the album came out and these were on that but here they are great quality and teh cover shot is even more colorful than the orignal version*just smaller)
as a fan of the first wild dogs effort thyis was a good continuation and i can see where the band or the producer
was trying to go. its a bit more polished than the first self produced self titled cd which i also bought and teh remastering has alot more low endf than teh vinyl i am a lifelong fan of this band and have followed all the members different projects as well Deen Castronovo is on the entire cd on this one(teh first album has jaime st james teh singer of Black N Blue (now with warrant) so glad it is available matt will reply you immediately if you email him he is a true rockstar.

Thanks for the bonus songs
Nice cd. But the fun starts when mr. Varney`s job is done. My first album of the band was reign of terror so I was a little dissapointed first but the bonus songs did it finally. Here you can find these unbelieveable energy again. Fantastic guitar riffs, again these drums... Would have been great if they had produced the complete album by themselve. If you are a wild dogs fan and like reign of terror buy this because the bonus section is killer
