ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"The Guitar Singing"
The guitar was my first instrument! inherited by my father musician and violinist. I started playing this great instrument lying horizontal on my legs child and learned the right hand arpeggios played as imitating my father. At 7 years old, I received a gift flute and the first song I played was a composition created by me which I remember to this day ... I studied composition, harmony, jazz piano and classical guitar in Brazil. At 27 I moved to Europe, I came here as working "pianist" in a house of music and Brazilian culture in "Florence" in Italy, where he worked with various artists, where I devoted myself to the study of piano. The piano ... is the greatest instruments! The most powerful! The most complete and seductive of instruments! and the Guitar? is so lyrical, so harmonious, so magical! I could not abandon it! My guitar! He is part of me! I have no memories of my life in which he was not present! Well, go to cd: "Asa Branca Luiz Gonzaga King of the balloon" was one of the first songs that I heard and learned to play as many Brazilian musicians, the studio decided at the last moment and so it records the first track was ready ... . My project was beyond that of my songs I should to add these three composers guitarists with: "Desvairada" Garoto, "Tempo de Criança" Dilermando Reis and "Sons de Carrilhões" João Pernambuco.Should honor these three composers and guitarists who had and still has a great importance in Brazilian music and Brazilian guitar mainly influenced many composers and guitarists including myself. This trio embodied the Brazilian guitar! On this album some of the original music as "Thethe", "Frevo" were written over twenty years ago, even in Brazil, like other "Willealle Suite" and "Choro Quebrado" were finalized and rearranged here in Europe where I live. "Guardiano" and "Anima Mia" are the newer or younger. I think I tried to add this album to my musical and emotional intuitive and why not "traditional" in the world in which I lived and grew up in musical mode serious, pragmatic and cold old world, that of 27 years and is today represented the my second life. I believe that this album is the result of these experiences and many more, where each song has a story, I hope to tell you in the future.
Thanks and good music to everyone!
