ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
En Trance is the debut solo release from Colombian composer Wilson Acevedo, founder, multi-percussionist, and composer of the group Cache, probably most well know for the track Abuelos.

The album, recorded with the Jazzmeetssalsa Band is full of material for the dancer, opening with the uptempo salsa of Baila Mi Mambo before going slightly downtempo with the more latin jazz sounds of El Amor Es Divino, a track that i've played out a couple of times to bring things down a notch and has worked wonders.

Other tracks of note on this CD are the fantastic Gury's Mambo, the first single to be released, and which is sure to light up most dance floors, the solid Amor Cruel and Ciego De Amor, and the hard latin-jazz of the fabulously funky Japon.

Overall, this is a very solid high-quality release that's sure to appeal to the Latin Jazz fans, as well as dancers of all levels.
